Teach your Cat a trick -- Thursday January 17th, 2008
Despite popular belief, you can train your cat to perform tricks when you offer them food rewards such as morsels of their favorite food or treats. Be sure work with only one command at a time with your cat. Be consistent and be patient.
Teach them how to WAVE. Hold a treat in front of your cat's nose, but just out of reach, move the treat back and forth with your hands in a waving motion while saying "wave". As your cat reaches for the food, it will appear as if it is waving. When you are satisfied with the behavior, praise your cat and give it a reward!!! Before long it will be waving all the time at you for a treat!!!!!!
